Dr. Arash Sarlati DVM

Dr. Sarlati graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine after his passion for rescue animals led to his departure from a successful career in economics to pursue his dream of becoming a veterinarian. He has a special interest in animal behavior and in his spare time he works with pit bull rescue groups. He is an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and has a rescue dog named Arthur that he loves dearly. His addition to our team has enabled La Jolla Veterinary Hospital to become the first, night-time veterinary practice in La Jolla.

Dr. Allyn Meyer, DVM

Dr. Meyer was born and raised in La Jolla. She earned her bachelor’s degree at The University of Washington and her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois.

After becoming a veterinarian, she pursued additional training through an academic internship in avian and exotic animal medicine and surgery in Seattle, Washington. In addition to cats and dogs, Dr. Meyer enjoys providing veterinary care to a number of different species including birds, reptiles, aquatic, and small mammals. Her addition to the practice facilitates La Jolla Veterinary Hospital’s new chapter in practicing veterinary medicine for companion animals other than cats and dogs. Dr. Meyer is the only veterinarian in La Jolla that specializes in exotic veterinary medicine.

When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, surfing, and camping. Dr. Meyer lives with her husband, 2 cockatiels, and a Catahoula mix.

Dr. Ben Glicklin, DVM

Dr. Glicklin grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at The University of Michigan – Go Blue! He moved back to California for veterinary school at UC Davis and graduated in 2012. His interest in nurturing long-term relationships with his clients led him to La Jolla Veterinary Hospital.

Stephanie Coolidge
Hospital Director

Stephanie has been with La Jolla Veterinary Hospital since 2006. She attended culinary art school and still spends as much free time as possible, cooking. She surprisingly found her calling at La Jolla Veterinary Hospital when she discovered a passion for applying her background in hospitality to the veterinary field. She loves people just as much as animals and cares desperately about our client’s happiness and their experience at our practice. Her partner and their daughter have two rescue dogs named “Broccoli” and “Piggie.” She is also very involved in the non-profit animal industry and enjoys fostering kittens for local rescue groups.
